Instructions

  1. Sift matcha powder into a bowl using a fine mesh sifter.
  2. Heat water to 160–175°F (avoid boiling).
  3. Pour water over matcha and whisk briskly in an M or W motion using a bamboo whisk until frothy.
  4. To make a latte, pour into a mug and top with steamed milk.
  5. For an iced matcha latte, whisk matcha with warm water, then pour over ice with cold milk and sweetener.
  6. Enjoy immediately and store matcha powder in an airtight container in the fridge.
