A creamy, cooling, and antioxidant-rich drink featuring ceremonial-grade matcha whisked into frothy perfection and poured over ice and your favorite milk — the perfect reset in a glass.

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients

  • 1–2 teaspoons ceremonial-grade matcha powder

  • 2 ounces warm water (160°F–170°F)

  • 6–8 ounces milk of choice (oat, almond, coconut, soy, or dairy)

  • 1–2 teaspoons maple syrup, honey, or sweetener of choice

  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Sift 1–2 teaspoons of matcha powder into a bowl to prevent clumps.

  • Add 2 ounces of warm (not hot) water and whisk briskly using a matcha whisk or frother until frothy and fully dissolved.

  • Add 1–2 teaspoons of maple syrup or sweetener and stir to combine.

  • Fill a tall glass with ice, pour in 6–8 ounces of your preferred milk.

  • Gently pour the matcha mixture over the milk, using the back of a spoon for a layered effect if desired.

  • Stir before drinking or enjoy the beautiful green layers as-is.

Notes

Use ceremonial-grade matcha for the best taste and color. For extra flavor, add a splash of vanilla extract or a dash of cinnamon.
