- 2 cans crescent roll dough
- 2 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the dish to form the crust.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
- Unroll the second crescent roll sheet and gently lay it on top of the filling.
- Mix melted butter with 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon. Brush generously over the top crust.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbling.
- Cool completely, then chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour before slicing into bars.
Notes
For clean cuts, chill completely and use a sharp knife. Try serving warm with a drizzle of caramel or cold with fresh berries on the side.
