Ingredients

- 1 cup warm filtered water (not boiling)
- Juice of 1 fresh lemon (or 2 tbsp organic lemon juice)
- 1 tbsp raw apple cider vinegar (with the “mother”)
- 1/4 tsp ground cayenne pepper (or less, to taste)
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger (or 1/4 tsp ground ginger)
- Optional: 1 tsp organic honey or maple syrup
- Optional: A pinch of Himalayan pink salt
- Optional: Ice cubes if drinking chilled
Instructions
- Warm the water until it’s just above room temperature — not too hot.
- Mix in the lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and ginger first.
- Stir in cayenne pepper, cinnamon, and any optional ingredients.
- Let the drink sit for 1–2 minutes, then stir again.
- Sip slowly, preferably before breakfast or 20 minutes before a meal.
- Can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Shake before serving.
Notes
Start with smaller amounts of cayenne and ginger to assess tolerance. Drink on an empty stomach for best results.
