Ingredients

- 1 cup warm water or unsweetened coconut water
- Juice of 1 fresh lemon
- 1 tablespoon raw apple cider vinegar (with ‘the mother’)
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger (or ½ tsp powdered)
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional, pre-soaked)
- 1 teaspoon honey or a few drops of liquid stevia (optional)
Instructions
- In a glass or mason jar, add the warm water or coconut water. Make sure it’s warm—not hot—to protect the nutrients in the ingredients.
- Squeeze in the fresh lemon juice.
- Add the apple cider vinegar and stir.
- Mix in the ginger and cinnamon. Stir well until fully blended.
- If using chia seeds, add them now and let the drink sit for 5–10 minutes to allow them to expand.
- Add sweetener (if needed), stir again, and drink immediately.
- Optional: Blend the drink for a smoother texture, especially if using fresh ginger or chia seeds.
Notes
Best consumed on an empty stomach in the morning or 30 minutes before meals. Adjust ginger or ACV to taste if you’re sensitive. Use a straw to protect your teeth from acidity.
